Aceste entitati sunt simboluri rar folosite ( dar destul de des intaltine in cadrul site-urilor moderne. In acest articol va prezentam un tabel cu codurile acestor simboluri pentru ca voi sa aveti o resursa de baza atunci cand vreti sa le inserati intr-o pagina web.

 Unele caractere (ex. semnul mai mare - > ) sunt rezervate pentru codul HTML. Daca tu vrei sa afisezi un astfel de caracter intr-o pagina este recomandat sa scrii in cod Entitatea Acestuia. De exemplu pentru a afisa semnul mai mare (>) trebuie sa-i scrii numele entitatii: > . De asemenea sunt simboluri care poti fi folosite cu succes in cadrul graficii unui site, care de multe ori sunt folosite sub forma de imagini din nestiinta. Ex. ☞ » ½

Avantajele principale folosirii acestor entitati sunt:

  • Se incarca foarte repete fiindca sunt defapt text
  • Sunt scalabile - se pot mari sau micsora fara sa-si piarda calitatea
  • Usor de schimbat culoarea



    • Dezavantajele folosirii acestor entitati ar putea reprezenta incomptabilitatea browserlor mai vechi (ex. IE6) de a afisa aceste caractere si diferenta de calitate la care se vor afisa in diferite browser / sisteme de operare. Am construit mai jos un tabel unde gasiti simbolul si codul respectiv - entitatea.
